Tips & Tricks – Importing Images/Attachments Using the Open Data Import Centre, Selecting the Correct Mapping Fields.

A long time ago now, version 10.5 or earlier, objects in InfoNet had the ability to only store a fixed number of images or attachments. As an example the Manhole Surveys object could only store four images and attachments in all.

InfoNet now has the ability to store an unlimited number of images and attachments per object. However the old fixed number are the default set.

Using the Open Data Import Centre it is possible to import images into both the default set as well as the unlimited set. This blog post will concentrate on importing the default set, so the fields required to be mapped are the following.
